Job description

Description: A Certification Engineer job is currently available at Belcan in Cincinnati, OH. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. To be considered, you will need a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline. In this job, you will perform various engineering tasks to support the certification efforts of commercial aircraft interior products.

Certification Engineer job duties include:
  • Perform standard engineering tasks related to stress analysis and deflection
  • Review engineering drawings and bill of materials
  • Develop certification test plans and reports to demonstrate compliance to defined requirements
  • Compile FAA certification documentation for submission
  • Support meetings with various engineering teams as part of a broad certification effort
Qualifications:
  • Microsoft office proficiency
  • Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to identify and understand failure modes of systems
  • Legal authorization to work in the US required
Desired but not required skills:
  • FAA/EASA certification experience
  • Familiarity with FEA modeling and data review

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $64,480 - $68,640 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.'
