Role Description
We are looking for a part-time catering team member who can support the bakery's catering operations by assisting with food preparation, delivery, and service. This person will have good attention to detail, work well in a fast-paced environment, and be a good driver.
Responsibilities & Duties 

  • Prepare and complete the packaging and plating of orders.

  • Help with the preparation of catering and event menus.

  • Responsible for the timeliness and accuracy of all deliveries.

  • Assist client in delivery and setup (if asked) of product in event space.

  • Able to keep up with the demand of high-volume orders and work at a fast pace. 

  • Follow kitchen policies, procedures, and service standards.

  • Ensure all product is kept to Dog Tag Bakery standards, checking for consistent appearance and quality.

  • Maintain a positive, respectful, and clean work environment.

  • Abide by all Health and Safety standards.

  • Highly responsible, punctual, and reliable.

  • Have access to reliable transportation.

  • Take initiative and work well both independently and as part of a team.

  • Good attention to detail.

  • Work well under pressure.

  • Quickly recognize and resolve problems.

  • Must be able to multitask effectively.

  • Must be able to life and carry up to 50 lbs.

Work Hours, Compensation & Benefits

  • Part-time work schedule of 20-30 hours per week with regular shifts starting at 7 am. Availability for some evenings and weekends required.
  • Schedule may change based on catering order demands.

  • Starting wage: $18.40 per hour (based on experience) plus tips.
