PUFFY COTTON CANDY JOB DESCRIPTIONS
Cotton Candy Artist
Puffy Cotton Candy is looking for an artistic, innovative, and energetic cotton candy artist to make cotton candy clouds, characters, and cakes at our store in the Freehold Raceway Mall in Freehold, NJ 07728.
To succeed as a cotton candy artist, you should be imaginative, have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and have fun! You should be responsible, attentive to customer needs, and committed to providing excellent service and experience. No cotton candy experience necessary.
Cotton Candy Artist Responsibilities:
Operate a cotton candy machine to create cotton candy clouds and characters.
Cut, sculpt, and shape characters using cookie cutters, scissors, and other tools.
Possess knowledge of current line-up of characters and flavors.
Communicate with customers, managers, and cashiers to fulfill orders.
Operate a Square Point of Sale system which involves handling both cash and card transactions for when a cashier is not present.
Maintain a clean workspace and helping other cotton candy artists keep their workspace clean when able.
Perform opening and closing procedures which include washing all cotton candy machine bowls, scraping cotton candy heads, wiping down workstations, washing tools, restocking supplies, managing inventory, etc.
Cotton Candy Artist Requirements:
Willingness and patience to learn a new skill.
Ability to communicate with others in a clear and concise manner.
High level of energy with strong customer service skills.
Ability to stand for long durations, navigate the kiosk, lift heavy items, and work with other team members in a fast-paced environment to provide excellent service.
Detail oriented and organized.
Pay is $15-$17/hr + TIPS with the ability to make up to $22/hr + TIPS.
