Summary
Part-Time (0.4 FTE) Pediatric Endocrinology opportunity at LifeBridge Health Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, Maryland
The Herman and Walter Samuelson Children's Hospital at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore is seeking a part-time Pediatric Endocrinologist to join our team of two full-time physicians, two endocrine nurses and one dietitian. The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology provides a full range of endocrine outpatient services on the Sinai Hospital campus and at a nearby satellite office location, as well as consult services to The Herman & Walter Samuelson Children's Hospital, located on the Sinai campus. The hospital has a dedicated pediatric hospitalist service, pediatric intensive care unit, neonatal intensive care unit and pediatric testing and infusion center, and comprehensive psychosocial support including child life services.
This is an excellent opportunity offering strong work-life balance. The ideal candidate will enjoy practicing pediatric endocrinology and teaching pediatric residents and medical students.
Job Description:
  • Four half-day clinic sessions per week
  • Inpatient consults while on call; with opportunity to take on additional call weeks for bonus pay
  • Precepting residents as well as students in the George Washington University Regional Medical Campus program
  • Opportunity for faculty appointment to the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences

Requirements:
  • BC/BE in Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology
  • Must have an active MD or DO medical license
  • Maryland DEA & CDS license

Compensation:
  • $70-80k/year depending on experience, plus additional compensation for call coverage & RVU income
  • Medical malpractice insurance is covered
  • Credentialing fees are covered

Department of Pediatrics:
The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology is part of the Department of Pediatrics at Sinai Hospital, Maryland's largest community hospital. The department includes 40 full-time faculty across more than 15 subspecialties. Sinai hosts the only nationally accredited pediatric training program in a Maryland community hospital, with 30 residents. We are also a teaching site for medical students from Johns Hopkins University, Georgetown University, George Washington University, and visiting international programs
