Job description

Pinewood Country Club is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of part-time Building Maintenance staff. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to the clubs managed by Troon. 
 
Summary
Performs repairs and general maintenance needs for multiple buildings and club amenities, equipment, furniture, some mechanical, electrical, plumbing, landscape and janitorial.
 
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Performs the maintenance of club parking lots, pickleball/tennis courts, swimming pool, and other club amenities.
  • Ensures all building maintenance, repair and cleaning acvies are identified and completed as assigned by Department Manager.
  • Keeps work areas safe, clean and organized.
  • Ensures clubhouse grounds are trash free and that all garbage is properly removed and disposed of.
  • Responds to clubhouse emergencies by department heads.
  • Carries out maintenance and work orders as assigned by Department Manager.
  • Assists with preparation of special functions, parties, tournaments, holiday decorations and break down of these events as needed.
  • Completes other appropriate assignments made by the department manager.
Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
  • Prior maintenance experience a plus.
  • Pool maintenance experience a plus.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Early riser, a.m. shifts.
  • A friendly, polite, and courteous nature.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Team player.
