Job description

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks experience to join our team on a part-time basis.

Position Details

  • Part-time: 2–3 days per week
  • Hours: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Schedule: Flexible; Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks
  • Handle government remittances and taxes
  • Process payroll and payroll deductions
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations
  • Manage Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P)
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Provide general administrative support to the owner as needed
  • Occasionally assist the owner with tasks around the shop

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper
  • Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks
  • Knowledge of payroll, deductions, taxes, and government remittances
  • Experience with A/R, A/P, and reconciliations
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Comfortable working in a small shop/business environment
