Job description

Uhrig Construction is seeking an experienced Part-Time Construction Bookkeeper to join the Uhrig group of companies comprised of three separate entities including a general construction company, a residential and commercial painting company and an industrial painting company. This position supports the company's financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, job cost reporting, and general ledger maintenance. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and has experience with construction accounting.


Qualifications:

· Minimum of 5 years of full-charge bookkeeping experience in the construction industry

· High school diploma required; Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred

· Proficiency with ComputerEase or other related construction industry software and Microsoft 365.

· Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities

Schedule:

· Part-time non-exempt in office position. Flexible hours.

· Normal office hours are Monday through Thursday 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

· Must be available to work full-time during employee vacations and other coverage needs
