Job description

Adecco is seeking a detail‑oriented and reliable Full or Part Time Bookkeeper to support our client’s daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable, general bookkeeping, and
light administrative support. This role is perfect for someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a small‑business environment.

This role is onsite in Honolulu Hawaii, parking provided
Pay is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. DOE

Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Accounting
Manage Accounts Payable: verify invoices, track due dates, prepare payments, and maintain vendor records
Support Accounts Receivable: create invoices, apply payments, and follow up on outstanding balances
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a regular basis
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date financial records and documentation
Assist with month‑end closing tasks and financial reporting

Administrative Support
Answer phone calls, emails, and assist with general office communication
Organize digital and physical files, contracts, and financial documents
Assist with scheduling, data entry, and internal record‑keeping
Support management with ad‑hoc administrative tasks as needed
Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal staff regarding payments and documentation

Qualifications
Previous bookkeeping experience required
Solid understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and general office software
