Are you a go-getter with a passion for people and a flair for creativity? 12th Tribe is looking for a dynamic Part-Time Assistant Manager to join our LA store team! As our Assistant Manager , you'll be part of the heart and soul of our store, helping to make it a vibrant, exciting place to shop, work, and connect.
In this role, you'll wear many hats-whether it's leading sales on the floor, helping to plan awesome in-store events, or training and supporting our team to be their best. You'll also help with inventory management, operations, and all the behind-the-scenes things that make our store run smoothly.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years previous leadership experience in a retail environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Driven approach to take on new challenges with the self-motivation for your work that inspires others
  • A major passion for styling and selling
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-channel team
  • Positive attitude and feels there is no task too small and no task too large
  • Available to work a minimum of 32 hours per week
  • Open availability across a full 7 day work week
  • Able to work flexible schedule (days, nights, weekends, & holidays if required to meet the needs of the business)

Responsibilities:
Store Management:
  • Alongside of Store manager, leads the daily opening and closing procedures for the store
  • Partners with the General Manager to lead the recruitment, onboarding, training and development of all staff.
  • Helps to Identify, create and manage the execution of all store business plans to drive performance results and maximize business opportunities.
  • Monitors daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals of each team member and provides regular feedback, coaching and counseling on performance.
  • Demonstrates product knowledge and passes on this knowledge to the sales staff.
  • Ensures all employees provide excellent customer service and experience at all times.
  • Assists with the development of all Retail Associates; motivating them to meet store goals.

Customer interaction:
  • You are the top stylist in the store!
  • You lead by example and interact with customers in-store and through store phone line to, assess their style needs, and offer personalized recommendations to create complete outfits
  • Create a positive shopping environment for each customer that walks into the store
  • Ask open ended questions & get to know each customer's unique needs. Make them feel confident and part of the Tribe!
  • Answer inquiries over slack and store phone line and direct inquiries to the proper channels
  • Ring up and close sales at register POS system

Product knowledge:
  • You stay updated on current fashion trends, fabric types, fit, and product details and disperse that information to stylists in-store
  • Stay updated on 12th Tribe collections and monthly product drops and share that with store stylists
  • Lead clothing try-ons and PK sessions with stylists

Styling expertise:
  • Style yourself according to the 12th Tribe aesthetic and inspire others with your outfits!
  • Be up to date on current fashion trends and embody that in your everyday wardrobe
  • Go above and beyond to create an amazing styling experience for our 12th Tribe Babes!
  • Suggest clothing and accessories that complement customers' body types, personal style, and lifestyle.

Fitting room assistance:
  • Start and build fitting rooms for customers as they shop the floor
  • Style up and fluff fitting rooms for clients to inspire full outfits
  • Guide customers through the fitting process, provide feedback on fit, and suggest alternative options and outfits
  • Keep fitting rooms clean, organized, and tidy

Sales generation:
  • ASM should have the top sales in the store
  • You are a natural on the sales floor and take action to open conversations with clients
  • You take ownership of the sales floor and sales team to ensure customer experience is the first priority
  • You work in tandem with the SM to think of new and exciting ways to generate sales through customer outreach, events, and social media
  • You have a client book and work to bring customers in when new collections arrive

Visual merchandising:
  • Assist SM in creating visually appealing displays and merchandise arrangements to highlight new arrivals and promote sales.
  • Maintain the store up to visual standards daily
  • Ability to change mannequins when items are sold/need updating

Social Media/Filming:
  • Willingness to appear in videos and social media content for store

Overall Operations:
  • Ensure compliance to policies and procedures and report concerns to senior management
  • Ensure the store is secured at closing by checking if the doors are locked, alarms are set and all safes are locked
  • Work with multiple teams to coordinate and stay up-to-date on shipping, inventory, and stock control
  • Work with SM to assure store is tidy and maintained - report all issues to the proper channels to assure things are fixed
