What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, parking lots, loading areas, and the property perimeter to help deter theft, unauthorized activity, and other security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazardous conditions, and policy violations to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain required documentation, including incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity reports, while handling assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, training, and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
