Position Summary
The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology seeks a temporary research assistant to support clinical and translational research in women's minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Responsibilities include: assisting with study screening, recruitment, and informed consent; collecting, entering, and managing study data; supporting data analysis and the preparation of figures, abstracts, and manuscripts; assisting with IRB submissions and regulatory documentation; and coordinating with the clinical research team. The position may involve contact with patients, medical records, and research specimens.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Management Preferences
- Demonstrated research experience such as literature review, data collection and analysis, or abstract and manuscript preparation.
- Strong organizational and written-communication skills.
- Familiarity with human-subjects research, patient interaction, or data management.
