What is a Part Time BCBA Insurance job?

A Part Time BCBA Insurance job involves working as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) on a part-time basis, typically providing applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy services that are billed to insurance companies. Job description

Liberty Behavioral & Community Services is a rapidly growing — yet intentionally steady and values-driven — ABA organization focused on delivering high-quality, inclusive services, with a strong emphasis on adult programming and community integration.

We are seeking an experienced **Part-Time BCBA** who values autonomy, flexibility, and the ability to make a meaningful impact. This role is ideal for clinicians who want the freedom to exercise strong clinical judgment while collaborating within a supportive leadership structure.

This position also offers the opportunity to grow into a **full-time role** as Liberty continues to expand thoughtfully and sustainably.

✔ Opportunity to influence clinical programming and service quality

✔ Meaningful work empowering adults through inclusion and skill-building

✔ Clear pathway to full-time as we continue steady, intentional growth.

We are scaling responsibly — prioritizing clinical quality, manageable caseloads, and long-term sustainability over rapid, chaotic expansion.

Position Overview

The Part-Time BCBA provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services including assessment, treatment planning, supervision, and clinical oversight for assigned clients in accordance with BACB ethical standards, California regulations, and payer requirements.

This role offers flexibility in structuring your week while maintaining high standards of care, compliance, and clinical excellence.

Field-based services are typically scheduled **between 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM** to support efficiency and flexibility.

2. Supervision & Staff Development*

* In-person or telehealth supervision of RBTs/BTs

* Performance feedback and competency monitoring

3. Clinical Documentation & Administrative Work**

* Discharge summaries

* Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Documentation expectations prioritize efficiency, clarity, and clinical integrity.

4. Caregiver Training & Collaboration**

Approx. 2–4 hours/week

* Collaboration with Regional Centers and allied providers

* Participation in team meetings as clinically indicated

Intakes and many assessment-related meetings occur via **Telehealth (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM scheduled time slots).

Growth Opportunity:

As Liberty continues to grow steadily, this position offers the opportunity to transition into a **full-time BCBA role** for clinicians interested in long-term growth and leadership opportunities.

Our growth model prioritizes sustainability, strong clinical systems, and healthy caseloads — creating opportunity without burnout.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments
  • Develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to staff
  • Monitor progress and modify treatment as clinically indicated
  • Maintain ethical and professional standards aligned with BACB

  • Current BCBA certification in good standing
  • Active eligibility to practice in the State of California
  • Experience providing ABA services in home, school, or community settings
  • Knowledge of Regional Center, insurance, or Medi-Cal ABA requirements preferred
  • Reliable transportation for field-based services.

Our Clinical Mission

We are committed to empowering individuals — especially adults — to build independence, dignity, and meaningful participation within their communities. At Liberty, clinicians are trusted to lead with compassion, critical thinking, and innovation.

Benefits

The BCBA maintains autonomy over clinical judgment and service delivery methods, while meeting agreed-upon service expectations and compliance standards.
