Job Summary:
This Surgical/Scrub Tech opportunity is part time on our Surgery Unit and offers a convenient schedule. We are looking for a dynamic Surgical/Scrub Tech that will monitors PAR level of all surgical instruments and Pain management supplies. Cleans and sterilizes all surgical instruments used in the OR and Pain Center. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Interacts professionally with patients and family.
  • Provides patient with explanations and verbal reassurance, as necessary.
  • Notifies appropriate licensed personnel when patient complains of pain.
  • Adapts procedures to meet individual needs of infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients for treatment.
