Overview
At Fitness Together Dana Point, we specialize in one-on-one private personal training, offering clients a highly personalized and premium fitness experience. Our mission is to help people feel stronger, move better, and live healthier lives in a safe, supportive, and motivating environment.
We're growing and looking for a Personal Trainer to join our team of fun and professional coaches!

What You'll Do:
  • Design Personalized Programs tailored to each client's goals, abilities, and limitations
  • Coach Clients One-on-One in private training suites to ensure safety, progress, and motivation
  • Build Relationships: Create a welcoming, professional, and empowering experience for every client
  • Work as a Team: Collaborate with other coaches to create a strong, united training culture
  • Maintain Clean, Safe Spaces: Ensure all equipment and suites meet cleanliness and safety standards
  • Represent the Brand: Maintain a professional appearance and uphold our studio values

What We're Looking For:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or related field (preferred)
  • Certification: Nationally accredited personal training certification (NASM, ACSM, ISSA, etc.)
  • Additional CFSC (Certified Functional Strength Coach) certification is mandatory & obtained during first 3 months of employment (paid for by company)
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in personal training and program design
  • Special Populations: Comfortable working with clients of all ages, abilities, and fitness backgrounds
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of injury prevention, functional training, and corrective exercise
  • CPR/AED & First Aid Certification: Required
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills

As a Fitness Together Trainer you will...
  • Design safe and effective fitness programs (using our progressive programming), accommodating the unique needs and goals of each client.
  • Educate and empower clients with a clear understanding of their fitness program, helping them to stay motivated and accountable.
  • Bring a positive attitude & welcoming demeanor towards all clients.
  • Represent yourself professionally through your appearance, language and job performance.
  • Constantly look for ways to improve your skills and grow as an expert in the field.

Full Time Schedule:
Monday-Thursday 12:30pm-9:15pm
Saturday: 6:45am-3:30pm
OFF: Fridays / Sundays
*this position will be start out part-time/hourly and built up to a Salaried Full-Time position over the 1st 90 days.
Position Requirements:

  • One year of personal training and program design experience
