Job description

AWS-CWI / ASNT Level II UT Inspector

Location: Cincinnati, OH
Schedule: Part-Time (2 Days per Week) | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Project Duration: 10–11 Months

We're hiring an experienced AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) with ASNT Level II Ultrasonic Testing (UT) certification for a long-term inspection project in the Cincinnati, Ohio area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified inspector seeking a consistent, long-term part-time schedule.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Pay: $50–$60/hour (higher rates may be considered for highly qualified candidates)
  • Per Diem: $255/day for qualified non-local candidates
  • Travel Pay: Full hourly rate paid for mobilization and demobilization travel time
Schedule
  • 2 days per week
  • Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Workdays will vary and are not fixed or consecutive
  • Project expected to run 10–11 months
Qualifications
  • Current AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification (required)
  • Current ASNT Level II Ultrasonic Testing (UT) certification (required)
  • Strong knowledge of welding inspection and NDT procedures
  • Ability to accurately interpret applicable codes, standards, and inspection requirements
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet site requirements
Responsibilities
  • Perform welding inspections in accordance with AWS codes and customer specifications
  • Conduct Ultrasonic Testing (UT) inspections and accurately interpret results
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation
  • Maintain compliance with all quality and safety requirements
  • Communicate inspection findings with customers and project personnel

Local candidates are preferred; however, per diem is available for qualified non-local candidates.
