Job description

The AWS Certified Welding Inspector & Ultrasonic Shear Wave Level II Technician will perform NDT inspections of weldments, piping systems and fixed equipment within area(s) of assigned responsibility. The work schedule will be project based with the Alaska special projects callout division. Projects may be local or remote.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • AWS CWI certification
  • Current level II UTSW certification.
  • Current MT and PT certifications.
  • RT Code level II code preferred.
  • Ability to follow and draft standard piping isometric drawings.
  • Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and valid driver’s license.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Must be able to routinely lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to travel to remote job sites periodically
