Job description

This position is located in the Shiprock Service Unit, Northern Navajo Medical Center, Division of Administrative Services, Medical Records Department. the primary purpose of the position is to provide assistance with the receptionist, clerical and OA duties with the implementation of the Personal Health Record (PHR) system. The position reports to the Medical Records Administrator.
A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).Qualifications:To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
BASIC REQUIREMENT(S):
In addition to the Basic Requirements, you must also meet the Minimum Qualifications stated below.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

GS-04:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of general experience. General experience is progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates your ability to perform the work of this position at the GS-04 level.
OR
Two years above high school. Successfully completed education above the high school level in any field for which high school graduation or the equivalent is the normal prerequisite is creditable. The education must have been obtained in an accredited business, secretarial, or technical school, junior college, college or university.
General Experience --Progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled.
Combining Education and Experience: Equivalent combinations of successfully completed post-high school education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements.
Selective Placement Factor:
Must be fluent in the use of the Navajo Language, including the ability to translate from Navajo to English and vice versa.
