- Accurately and efficiently distribute credentials to media and guests;
- Record and transcribe pregame and postgame interviews with players, coaches, and staff;
- Assist with press conferences in the media work room;
- Other duties as assigned.
The Experience You Will Bring
- High School Diploma or GED required; at least one year of college coursework in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of AP Style and ability to apply it in written materials
- Ability to quickly and accurately transcribe audio files
- Ability to work most Memphis Grizzlies home games, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and be available prior to media arrival on game days
- Knowledge of the Memphis Grizzlies and NBA basketball
- Professional and personable demeanor
- Strong work ethic with solid organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, game-night environment
