Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Where You Will Work:

Atrium Health Providence Emergency Department has 12 beds, including 2 resuscitation rooms, a Rapid Medical Evaluation room with 3 vertical treatment bays, and 2 triage rooms. We are staffed by board-certified emergency room physicians with APP support. There is full Lab, CT, X-ray, and Ultrasound on site and ED Clinical Pharmacy support 24/7. Our award-winning team of Nurses, Paramedics, Respiratory Therapists, Radiology Techs, and full ancillary services provides care to 16,000+ patients annually, encompassing adults and children of all ages. We appreciate your interest in joining our team!

We're Looking For:

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

  • Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new graduates

  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

  • ACLS required within 6 months of hire

  • 2 years of Critical Care experience preferred

What You'll Do:

  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
