Description:

The Hilton Garden Inn Uniontown is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Part-Time Event Coordinator to support the Food & Beverage Manager in banquet/event operations, the restaurant, and the bar. This hands-on position plays a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences—from event coordination to dining service and social media promotion. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves event planning and execution, and enjoys both behind-the-scenes coordination and hands-on service.

The Part-Time nature of the position allows it to fit into a schedule along with other job or life obligations while still making a difference for the hotel and yourself.

Who we are:

The Hilton Garden Inn Uniontown is a busy hotel, proudly serving visitors to Uniontown for 10 years. We have a restaurant, bar, and banquet space to serve guests and group needs. The hotel is managed by Prospera Hospitality, a proud Pittsburgh based hotel management company with over 20 years of experience managing hotels, restaurants, and convention centers.

What you’ll do:

Food & Beverage Support

  • Assist the Food & Beverage Manager with all aspects of restaurant and bar operations
  • Support bar service by working 1–2 bar shifts per week as needed
  • Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction through attentive service and problem resolution
  • Maintain compliance with all sanitation, safety, and Hilton brand standards

Event Coordination

  • Coordinate and execute on-site events, including setup, communication with clients, and event-day management
  • Stay on-site during events to ensure smooth execution and guest satisfaction
  • Collaborate with departments to deliver seamless event experiences

Marketing & Social Media

  • Assist with marketing and promotional efforts for the restaurant, bar, and events
  • Create and post engaging content on social media platforms (e.g., Facebook posts, stories, reels)
  • Support initiatives to boost community engagement and brand awareness

What you’ll receive:

  • This position has a starting pay of $15.00 per hour and will often include additional service charge or gratuity for events and shifts.
  • Hilton employees may participate in the Go Hilton employee travel program, offering employees and selected friends and family discounted rates at Hilton company hotels around the world.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in hospitality, food & beverage, or event coordination preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Creative with an eye for social media content
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be flexible and available evenings and weekends
  • Bartending or server experience a plus
  • Part-time position (approximately 20–25 hours per week)
