About the Company and the Dealership Administrative Assistant Opportunity:

  • CFS is partnering with a repeat client, a well-established automotive dealership in Jessup, MD. Due to a recent promotion, they are looking to hire a Dealership Administrative Assistant.
    • This is a newly created role in a family owned business offering lots of room for growth!
  • This position plays a key role in supporting the Finance and Sales Department through deal processing, title and registration administration, bookkeeping support, and general office operations. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, a self starter, computer savvy, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reports to the Office Manager (who was placed by CFS!)

    Overview of the Dealership Administrative Assistant:

    • Answer and route incoming phone calls in a timely manner, while providing excellent customer service
    • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
    • Provide administrative assistance across the Sales, Service, and Parts departments. Maintain accurate financial, operational, sales, and title records
    • Assist with bookkeeping, AP invoice processing, and payment preparation
    • Manage title and registration processes, including preparing, reviewing, and submitting in-state and out-of-state documentation accurately and within required deadlines
    • Coordinate with lenders, motor vehicle agencies, and tag services to ensure timely completion of title and registration transactions
    • Track outstanding paperwork and follow up on title, registration, funding, and compliance requirements
    • Enter vehicle inventory, purchase invoices, and related information into the dealership management system
    • Handle documentation and processing for used motorcycle purchases, trade-ins, and loan payoffs, including preparing associated payments
    • Submit service contracts, warranties, and other Finance & Insurance (F&I) products

    Qualifications for the Dealership Administrative Assistant:

    • Previous administrative, office, bookkeeping, tag and title, and/or dealership experience preferred
    • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including basic Excel skills
    • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management skills
    • Reliable and a team player!
    • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen

    Schedule: 100% on site in Jessup, MD. Tuesday-Saturday, 40 hours per week, 9am-6pm (hours can be flexible, including offering part time work if desired)
    Salary: $42,000-$48,000
