Job description

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The part time assembler will be responsible for ensuring that parts and components are properly assembled to the highest quality standard. The assembler follows work instructions and can work both alone and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform quality checks and inspect finished assemblies for defects, ensuring products meet specifications and tolerances
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols throughout the assembly process
  • Identify and report defective materials, parts, or equipment malfunctions
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S or similar standards
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and deadlines
  • Package and label finished products for shipment or the next stage of production
  • Rotate through different stations or tasks as production needs require
  • Adhere to PPE requirements and all workplace safety guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior manufacturing or assembly experience a plus, but not required
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
