Music Marketing & Playlist Pitcher โ€” Electronic Music Artist

Emerging melodic techno / electronic music artist is hiring a part-time playlist pitcher and streaming growth specialist on a monthly retainer. Long-term role focused on building real, sustainable growth on Spotify and other DSPs.

Schedule: Part-time โ€” approximately 30โ€“40 hours per month. Heavier workload around release windows, lighter between releases.

Compensation: $600โ€“900/month retainer, based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Pitch tracks to Spotify editorial playlists via Spotify for Artists

  • Pitch to independent curators across Spotify, Apple Music, and other DSPs

  • Run release campaigns (pre-saves, release-day strategy, single rollouts)

  • Manage SubmitHub, Groover, and other legitimate pitching platforms

  • Build and maintain curator relationships in the melodic techno / deep house / electronic space

  • Monitor streaming analytics and provide monthly performance reports

  • Coordinate release timing and strategy with the artist and content manager

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in DSP playlist pitching and music marketing

  • Existing relationships with curators in electronic / melodic techno / deep house genres

  • Strong understanding of Spotify for Artists, Apple Music for Artists, and release strategy

  • Transparent, ethical approach โ€” no bot streams, fake plays, or guaranteed-placement services

  • Reliable, communicative, and passionate about electronic music

  • Able to share case studies or examples of past results
