These roles typically combine practical job training with classroom instruction, allowing apprentices to earn while they learn. Part-time apprenticeships are ideal for students, career changers, or those balancing other commitments. They are available in various industries, such as healthcare, IT, and skilled trades. Completion often leads to certifications, career advancement, or full-time employment opportunities.

What do I do in a part time apprenticeship?

Your daily work may involve assisting with basic duties, learning to operate tools or software, shadowing skilled professionals, and participating in training sessions. The tasks are structured to give you practical exposure to the field while fitting within a flexible, part-time schedule. This experience not only develops your technical abilities but also builds your confidence and readiness for future full-time roles in the industry.

What skills and qualifications are needed for a part time apprenticeship?

To thrive in a Part Time Apprenticeship, you need a willingness to learn, basic technical or industry knowledge relevant to the apprenticeship, and typically a high school diploma or equivalent. Apprentices often receive on-the-job training and may use specific tools, software, or safety equipment depending on the field.
