Starting Pay Rate: $48-$50 per hour DOE

Role and Responsibilities:
The following list contains the daily operations and responsibilities of the Critical Care Provider position.
โข Attend morning Safety Briefings
โข Daily readiness checks and addresses issues with transport equipment and supplies as needed
โข Provide Critical Care emergency services during transport
โข Coordinate and communicate with medical facilities and Dispatch
โข Administer medications and use specialized medical equipment
โข Monitor and assess the patient's condition throughout the Transport
โข Perform life-saving interventions when necessary
โข Document all care provided during transport for medical records
โข Participate in ongoing training and simulation exercises
โข Ensure medical equipment and supplies are well-maintained and stocked
โข Assist in patient loading and unloading with safety always a priority
โข Work closely with EMT's and Paramedics to ensure the overall safety of the mission
โข Shared administrative duties including but not limited to QA/QI program, Training/FTO program, and protocol auditing and creation
โข Community Partner Outreach
โข Active role with various internal and external committees and meetings
โข Supervision of BLS and ALS providers and documenting performance evaluations
โข Assisting with interviewing, onboarding, and training new hires
โข Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors and partners
Critical Care Qualifications and Skills:
โข Previous experience in air medical or critical care transport
โข Advanced certifications such as FP-C or CCP-C, CCEMT, CFRN
โข Skills in crisis resource management, and ability to intervene in stressful situations
โข Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
โข Familiarity with ambulance transport, medical equipment and protocols
โข Physical fitness to manage the demands of the job
โข Registered Nurse with a current license in the state
โข Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in emergency medical services
โข Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
โข Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
โข Trauma certification such as PHTLS or ITLS, TNCC, or TPATC
โข Ability to work irregular hours and in various weather conditions
โข Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
โข Capability to work in challenging environments and mitigate possible austere medical situations
โข Clean driving record
