JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a medical provider in the clinic setting. Under the direction and supervision of the provider the clinic RN will carry out any duties delegated and requested by the provider which does not exceed the scope of their practice and licensure by the state.
The RN will handle the higher level of care/patient assessment needs, such as triaging incoming phone calls, unscheduled visits and abnormal test results.
This position may require providing services to one or more age populations, including neonate through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Physician Services. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support Blessing Health System strategic plans and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Process and Patient Safety Plan.
This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Corporate Services. ICARE standards must be demonstrated. Adherence to Code of Conduct and other policies is required.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training/Experience:
REQUIRED:
  • Graduate of an RN School of Nursing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

PREFERRED:
  • Previous clinic experience

License/Certifications/Special Requirements:
  • Possesses a current Illinois RN license and / or any other RN state license that employee is required to work.

PAY STATUS
  • Non-exempt hourly
