CLIENT - MINERSVILLE (Personal Care Support)
Schedule:
Morning - Weekdays & Weekends - Part-Time
Care Needs:
  • Full personal care support
  • Bathing assistance (bed bath)
  • Toileting assistance
  • Hygiene support
  • Safe transfer assistance (client is a wheelchair user and a double amputee)
  • Hoyer-lift transfers for all movements
  • Incontinence care - keeping client clean, dry, and comfortable
  • Dressing assistance and cueing
  • Changing linens
  • Light housekeeping
  • Meal preparation
  • Cutting food into small pieces for safe eating
  • Medication reminders
  • Accompanying the client to doctor appointments and errands
  • Treatments occur 1-5 days per week depending on medical requirements
  • Weekend laundry assistance
  • Companionship and engagement
  • Pet-friendly caregiver (home has multiple animals)

This client benefits from caregivers who are confident with equipment, comfortable with high-acuity personal care, and able to maintain safety throughout all mobility routines.
MUST HAVE FOR EMPLOYMENT
To ensure safety, reliability, and high-quality care, all applicants must meet the following employment requirements:
  • Valid Pennsylvania driver's license
  • Proof of active auto insurance
  • Reliable, personally-owned vehicle
  • Must currently reside in Pennsylvania
  • Minimum age of 18
  • Ability to pass all required background checks
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to safely perform high-physical-demand personal care and Hoyer-lift transfers
  • Professional, respectful communication with clients, families, and office staff
  • Ability to follow care plans and maintain client safety at all times
  • Commitment to representing Comfort Keepers' mission of Elevating the Human Spirit in every visit
