Working part time means you typically have a flexible schedule and work fewer hours than a full-time position, making it ideal for those seeking work-life balance or supplemental income. These roles usually require knowledge of medical terminology, coding systems like ICD-10 and CPT, and sometimes certification. The job may be remote or on-site, depending on Amazon’s current needs.

To thrive as a Part Time Amazon Medical Coder, you need a solid understanding of medical terminology, ICD-10 and CPT coding systems, and often a relevant certification such as CPC or CCS. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, coding software, and compliance regulations is essential. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently are critical soft skills for accuracy and productivity. These abilities ensure precise coding, regulatory compliance, and efficient processing of medical claims in a remote or flexible work environment.
