Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
  • 1+ years of Security Experience
  • 18+ years of age
  • Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
  • Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and airport partners by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random vehicle and foot patrols throughout assigned airport facilities, terminal areas, parking areas, roadways, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and communication protocols.
  • Prepare clear and accurate reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to supervisors and designated airport personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
