Advance notice is typically provided whenever possible; however, candidates should be willing to support occasional short-notice assignments.

What you'll do:

  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, fabricators, engineers, and project managers.
  • Support quality assurance and quality control activities for utility, district energy, and power generation projects.
  • Travel to project sites throughout Texas and surrounding areas as required.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and electronic report preparation.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Experience inspecting transmission structures, utility infrastructure, structural steel fabrication, or industrial construction projects.
  • Experience with district cooling systems, chilled water piping, power generation facilities, or other utility-related assets.
  • Additional NDE certifications (UT, MT, PT, PAUT, or related methods).
  • Experience performing fabrication shop inspections and construction quality assurance activities.
  • Familiarity with ASME B31.1, B31.3, and related utility and industrial codes.
