Part Time Agnp information

Which NP specialty is least stressful?

Among nurse practitioner specialties, primary care roles such as family or pediatric nurse practitioners are often considered less stressful due to more predictable schedules and patient interactions. Specialties like acute care or emergency nurse practitioners tend to involve higher stress levels because of urgent and complex cases. However, stress levels can vary based on work environment, workload, and individual preferences.

How to make $200,000 as an NP?

To earn $200,000 as a nurse practitioner (NP), professionals often work in high-paying specialties such as acute care or anesthesia, gain extensive experience, and may take on additional shifts or leadership roles. Advanced certifications, a master's or doctoral degree, and working in urban or private practice settings can also increase earning potential.

Can you work part time while in NP school?

Part time AGNP (Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner) students often work while studying, but it depends on program requirements and clinical hours. Many students balance part-time work with coursework, provided they meet clinical and academic commitments, and some employers offer flexible schedules for healthcare students.

Can you make $500,000 as a nurse practitioner?

Earning $500,000 as a nurse practitioner is uncommon and typically requires working in high-paying specialties, such as anesthesiology or dermatology, or taking on additional roles like administration or consulting. Most nurse practitioners earn between $80,000 and $150,000 annually, depending on experience, location, and work setting. Achieving higher income levels often involves advanced certifications, overtime, or working in high-demand areas.

Job description

Aboutthe Role

We'relooking for an experienced, autonomous Nurse Practitioner to join our clinicalteam PRN or Part time, providing primary and episodic care to residents in skillednursing facilities. This is an independent role built around continuity —you'll manage your own panel and build long-term relationships with patientsand their families.

What'sIn It For You

  • You build your own schedule. You decide the days and hours that work for you. Keep it consistent once it's set, and the rest is yours.
  • 6-hour shifts. Rounds generally start in the morning (7–10 a.m.). No on-call, no overnights, ever.
  • Chart from home. Wrap up your documentation wherever you want — you're not tied to the facility once your rounds are done.
  • Real earning potential. Productivity-based compensation — the more you see, the more you make.
  • Long-term retention incentive up to $50,000 on top of your pay.
  • Full benefits for Full Time. W-2 with medical, dental, and vision; 401(k) with match; PTO; short- and long-term disability; employer-paid life insurance.
  • $1,500 annual CME stipend, plus a company iPad and lab coat.
  • Modern tech that gets out of your way. Integrated EHR, voice dictation, and UpToDate® for fast, clean charting.

YourDay-to-Day

You'llsee roughly 16–20 patients a day — a mix of long-term chronic care and acuteissues. That means annual wellness visits and H&Ps, managing chronic andco-morbid conditions, responding to acute changes, reviewing meds and orders, and coordinating with collaborating physicians, specialists, and facility staffto keep care seamless. You'll also stay in touch with families and join careconferences where it makes sense.

Qualifications

  • Board certification required (e.g., AGNP, FNP) — active and unrestricted.
  • Valid, unrestricted NP license in the state of operation.
  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Skilled nursing or long-term care experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong independent clinical judgment and the ability to move quickly in a fast-paced setting.
