Total Compensation

  • Hourly rate: $18
  • Work Location: This position will be eligible for a hybrid work schedule, pursuant to the College's Work Location Policy.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work with prospective applicants to the 4+1 Engineering program at the University of Pennsylvania
  • Answer questions about the program and the application process
  • Create enthusiasm about the program at Haverford
  • Increase awareness of the program

Line of Report: The 4+1 Engineering Graduate Student Liaison reports to the 4+1 Engineering Faculty Coordinator.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from Haverford College completed prior to start date
  • Enrollment in the University of Pennsylvania's engineering program by fall 2026

Professional Competencies

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Technical proficiency including strong knowledge of Microsoft and Google Suite
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with multiple constituents (students, staff, and faculty)
