About the Role

CatFace is seeking a Part-Time Commercial Photographer & Videographer to create compelling visual content for merchandise launches, marketing campaigns, ecommerce initiatives, and brand partnerships.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role is responsible for producing both product-focused, lifestyle-driven photography and video assets supporting our website, social media channels, paid advertising, email marketing, and promotional campaigns. Within the Marketing team this role brings products to life through engaging visual storytelling, helping drive awareness, engagement, and sales.


The ideal candidate has experience creating branded content for consumer products and understands how to balance strong creative execution with marketing objectives. This includes photographing products for ecommerce, directing lifestyle shoots with models, and producing short-form video content and advertising creatives.

This is a flexible part-time position with photography and filming taking place primarily on-site at our Austin office. Projects will vary based on merchandise launches, seasonal campaigns, and external partnership opportunities.


Key Responsibilities

Commercial Photography

  • Photograph products for ecommerce listings, marketing campaigns, and advertising materials.
  • Create lifestyle imagery featuring products in real-world environments and model-driven shoots.
  • Capture hero images, product detail shots, and promotional photography for launches and campaigns.
  • Maintain consistent visual standards, lighting, composition, and brand presentation.

Commercial Videography

  • Produce promotional videos and advertising creatives for product launches and marketing campaigns.
  • Capture behind-the-scenes, brand, and partnership content as needed.
  • Assist with planning and executing video shoots, including lighting, staging, setup and breakdown.

Campaign Collaboration

  • Collaborate within the Marketing team to execute creative concepts and meet campaign goals.
  • Support internal merchandise launches and external brand partnership initiatives.
  • Coordinate product samples and shoot schedules to meet launch deadlines.
  • Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently.


What We're Looking For

  • 2-4 years experience with product photography (ecommerce or studio).
  • Bachelor's degree in Photography or Videography or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years experience with videography and video editing
  • Strong photo editing and retouching skills
  • Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and video editing software (Premiere Pro)
  • Minimum 2 years experience creating short-form social media content
  • Strong organization and ability to manage deadlines
  • Portfolio demonstrating both photo and video work
  • Experience with Adobe After Effects for motion graphics is a plus
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Must be at least 18 years old
