About This Role

Part Time Administrator's role is to work happily and helpfully in a busy growing childhood education center with and amazing teaching team children ages 6 weeks to 6 years.


What You'll Do

Part Time Administrator's role :

  • Data Entry assisting in maintaining files for all children both hard copies and on childcare manager software.
  • Create documents flyers and signs for programs and events.
  • Work under pressure ie, handling tasks which come up unexpectedly.
  • Maintain confidentiality of program records and information about the school, staff and their families.
  • 'Maintain professional relationships with the owner, director, staff, families and children .
  • Participate in professional development.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work areas and assist in classroom room arrangement.
  • Assist in classrooms as needed
  • Maintain center-wide bulletin boards
  • Help with celebrations.

Requirements

Requirements for a part time administrator are:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Comply with all requirements of State and Federal laws and school specific policies.
  • Required knowledge of principles and practices office work.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people happily.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Physical capability to perform required duties. Must be able to lift approximately 30 pounds.
  • A negative TB test and health assessment.
