  • Collaborate closely with Tia's interdisciplinary care team, including nurse practitioners, behavioral health providers, acupuncture providers, and clinical support staff.

Job description

About Tia

Tia is building a new model for women's healthcare, one that treats women as whole people, not separate conditions or life stages. By integrating primary care, mental health, gynecology, dermatology, and wellness across both in-person and virtual settings, Tia is improving outcomes, lowering costs, and creating a better experience for patients and providers alike.

About the Role

We're looking for a part-time Primary Care Physician who is passionate about providing comprehensive, affirming care to women at Tia's San Francisco clinic.

This role is ideal for a physician seeking a consistent 2-3 day per week schedule while remaining deeply engaged in patient care and an interdisciplinary clinical environment.

As a Physician at Tia, you'll provide full-spectrum primary care for women, including preventive care, acute care, chronic disease management, and routine women's health needs. Your clinical expertise, collaborative approach, and commitment to whole-person care will make you an integral part of our care team.

You'll work closely with Tia's nurse practitioners and other clinical team members, contributing to case collaboration, clinical teaching, and the continued development of our care model. You may also have opportunities to provide feedback and clinical insights to Tia's technology and care innovation teams as we continue improving the tools and systems that support our patients and providers.

Why Tia
  • Consistent part-time schedule of 2-3 days per week
  • Built-in protected time for documentation, care coordination, and team collaboration
  • AI-supported documentation to reduce charting burden
  • Beautiful, thoughtfully designed clinics in prime locations
  • Opportunity to build and shape a new model for women's healthcare
  • Collaborative, interdisciplinary clinical environment

What You'll Do
  • Provide comprehensive, affirming primary care for women at Tia's San Francisco clinic.
  • Manage a broad range of primary care needs, including preventive care, acute concerns, chronic disease management, basic dermatology, hypertension, diabetes, STI screening, UTIs, vaginal infections, pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, and birth control counseling.
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care using shared decision-making and a whole-person approach.
  • Collaborate closely with Tia's interdisciplinary care team, including nurse practitioners, behavioral health providers, acupuncture providers, and clinical support staff.
  • Support clinical teaching, case consultation, and collaboration across the care team.
  • Provide clinical guidance and collaboration to advanced practice providers, as appropriate.
  • Contribute feedback and clinical insights that help improve Tia's care model, workflows, and technology.
  • Stay current on evolving research and incorporate evidence-based practices into day-to-day clinical care.

What You'll Bring
  • Board-certified or board-eligible Physician in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, with an active, unrestricted California medical license.
  • 3+ years of outpatient primary care experience preferred.
  • Experience providing routine gynecologic and women's health care within a primary care setting.
  • Comfortable providing comprehensive primary care, including preventive care, chronic condition management, acute concerns, basic dermatology, STI screening, UTI and vaginal infection care, pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, and birth control counseling.
  • A collaborative approach to working with nurse practitioners and other members of an interdisciplinary care team.
  • Commitment to evidence-based, inclusive, affirming, and patient-centered care.
  • Willing and eligible to complete required credentialing and payer enrollment.

Work Location & Schedule

This role is based at our San Francisco clinic and requires an onsite schedule.

This is a part-time position working 2-3 days per week. Specific days and scheduling will be discussed during the interview process based on clinic needs and candidate availability.

Compensation & Benefits

Tia is committed to pay equity and pay transparency. Compensation for this role will be determined based on job-related factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, scheduled hours, location, role leveling, business needs, and market conditions.

The expected compensation for this role is: $122,500 - $140,000 (based on 20 hr per week schedule)

Eligible benefits and additional compensation will vary based on scheduled weekly hours and may include:

  • Malpractice coverage
  • Paid sick leave and other applicable paid time off
  • CME support and licensing reimbursement
  • Access to clinical tools and ongoing training resources
  • Additional benefits and incentive compensation, where applicable based on scheduled hours and eligibility
