Job description

  • Part time, evening shift position
  • Shift: 4p - 8p
  • 16 hours per week

Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:

  • Work with team members and residents in developing the monthly activity calendar to meet the needs and desires of the residents, as well as working with Daycare to have activities that both residents and children can do together.
  • Support and implement the principles of the Eden Alternative in your daily approach to residents, children, staff, family and activities.
  • Chart daily activity attendance and participation of all residents, who engaged in activities of interest, both individually, 1:1 and/or groups.
  • See that each resident is given the opportunity to participate in group activities, 1:1 visits, outings, and spontaneous activities that will meet their physical, social, emotional, spiritual and cognitive needs to alleviate loneliness, helplessness, and boredom.
