A Part-Time Payroll Clerk is responsible for assisting with payroll processing and ensuring

employees are paid accurately and on time. The role involves maintaining payroll records,

verifying timesheets, calculating wages, and supporting payroll-related administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

 Collect, review, and verify employee timecards and attendance records.

 Process payroll data accurately and on schedule.

 Calculate wages, overtime, deductions, bonuses, and commissions.

 Maintain payroll records and employee information.

 Assist with payroll tax filings and compliance requirements.

 Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and benefits.

 Prepare payroll reports for management and accounting departments.

 Ensure confidentiality of employee payroll information.

 Assist with audits and record-keeping requirements.

 Support other administrative and accounting duties as needed.

Qualifications:

 High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in Accounting, Finance, background

preferred but not required.

 Previous payroll, bookkeeping, or administrative experience preferred.
