As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Access Control Patrol in New Stanton, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms and access-control needs, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused corporate location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate locations.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
  • Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CPR/First Aid is preferred.
  • Loss Prevention is preferred.
  • Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
