As a Security Officer Full Time Badge Check Patrol in Wilmington, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and report security-related concerns. Deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while helping create a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $20.32 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology facilities, office areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report security-related concerns, hazards, or unusual conditions.
  • Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
