Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will support access awareness and daily operations while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 11:00 AMSat03:00 PM - 07:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a busy retail location.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, sales floor, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points, receiving areas, and high-traffic spaces to help support authorized entry, orderly operations, and/or asset protection efforts.
  • Document observations, incidents, and/or security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
