Part Time 8 Hour Rn information

Can you make $200,000 as a nurse?

A part-time 8-hour registered nurse (RN) typically earns less than $200,000 annually, as full-time RNs in high-paying regions may reach that level with overtime, specialized skills, or management roles. Part-time positions generally offer lower total compensation, but experienced nurses with advanced certifications or working in specialized fields can increase their earnings. Achieving a $200,000 income usually requires full-time work, overtime, or additional responsibilities beyond a standard part-time schedule.

What is the difference between Part Time 8 Hour Rn vs Part Time 8 Hour Lpn?

AspectPart Time 8 Hour RnPart Time 8 Hour Lpn
CredentialsRegistered Nurse licenseLicensed Practical Nurse license

Part Time 8 Hour Rns and Lpns both work in healthcare settings with overlapping environments, but Rns typically handle more complex patient care and assessments, while Lpns focus on basic care tasks. Both roles require specific licenses and are vital in patient care teams, with Rns often taking on more advanced responsibilities.
