Employment Type: Part Time -
24 to 32 hours per weekFor qualified applicants, cross-training may also be provided
Radiology Imaging Associates (RIA) is a private radiology practice, composed of over 130 physicians. The group's mission is to improve the health of the patients in the communities we serve by providing them with the highest quality, specialty-based diagnostic imaging, image-guided therapy and associated medical care. A full range of outpatient diagnostic and interventional services is offered though Invision Sally Jobe. The breast care service lines are staffed solely by the breast radiologists.
Primary Responsibilities:During a typical day you will...
  • Facilitate all pre biopsy imaging, equipment set-up, and post biopsy care of patients
  • Assist Radiologist with stereotactic, tomosynthesis, ultrasound, and MRI-guided breast biopsies
  • Prepare/maintain all charts related to procedures with the NP and circulating nurse
  • Ensure infection control procedures are followed and quality control standards are met
  • Perform post-biopsy mammogram (Mammography certification required), and any pre-biopsy imaging (mammography/ultrasound)
  • Participate in Quality Control for all imaging equipment
  • Calibrate and deliver Nuclear medicine to administering physician
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • ARRT (M) Mammography certification with biopsy experience required
  • Breast Sonography Certification must be obtained within one year of hire. ARRT or ARDMS breast registry accepted. Technologist will be eligible for additional compensation upon completion.
  • Training in Nuclear Medicine will be provided post-hire
  • Knowledgeable of ACR accreditation and MQSA requirements
  • Exceptional patient care skills
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task is a fast-paced environment
  • Work collaboratively as a team-member
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Technologists seeking a diverse work environment which may include biopsy, mammography, and breast sonography are encouraged to apply
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak in English

Compensation is between $45.00 and $65.00 per hour
In accordance with Colorado law, the range provided is Radiology Imaging Associates reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role, and is based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Applications will be received on an ongoing basis, and this position will remain open until filled.
