Job description

Job Title: Adjunct Teaching - Design Dept - DESPX 210: 3D Modeling Principles-Product & User Experience Design
Posting End Date: July 6, 2026

Position Start Date: September 1, 2026
Required Degree:
BA required. Must have required degree by the start date.
Experience:
Experience with communication with college-level students and collaboration with colleagues in a collegial manner. Teaching technical concepts requires an efficient thinker with a unique and enthusiastic approach to helping students.
Duties/Expectations:
Teach undergraduate courses on a part-time basis for the Product and User Experience Design area in the Department of Design. Specifically for this position, qualified candidates would help develop curriculum and teach DESPX 210 - 3D modeling principles. Beginning Fall 2026, the 3D modeling principles course will be taught using Autodesk Fusion. The position will require lecturing, creating assignments, grading, critiques, and communication/responding to student emails. Part-time faculty are not required to hold office hours, attend staff meetings, serve on committees, or mentor students.
