Job description

Job Summary:
The Independent Field Claims Adjuster will conduct on-site inspections of residential and commercial properties to assess, document, and estimate damage for insurance claims. This role requires a high level of professionalism, accuracy, and responsiveness. This position is a 1099 independent contractor/part time role.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough exterior and interior inspections of damaged properties
  • Conduct safe roof inspections, as needed
  • Utilize Xactimate and/or Symbility estimating software to accurately assess and document damages.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate claim reports and documentation, including supplement requests.
  • Maintain timely communication with policyholders, insurers, and Administrative Strategies team.
  • Manage and prioritize assignments to ensure efficient claim resolution
  • Adherent to all industry regulations and company policies
  • Return all phone calls in a timely professional manner, followed with accurate documentation of such
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a field claims adjuster
  • Proficient in Xactimate and/or Symbility estimating software. Must have current subscription
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software is expected
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Maintain appropriate licensing for states the contractor plans to work in.
  • A strong understanding of insurance policies, claims processes, and regulatory requirements
  • Commitment to professional conduct and responsiveness
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a virtual environment
  • Pass Background Check
Special Requirements:
  • Must possess a laptop computer with Microsoft Word and Excel. Cell phone with text messaging, internet and email.
