Job description

Position Summary

The shipping clerkโ€™s primary role is to support the shipping department by inspecting, part marking, demasking, verifying, processing, and packaging all materials. They assist with various tasks including order entry, picking, packing, and delivery of both internal and external orders as required. They support management with any other shipping and receiving tasks that must be completed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Ensure parts are free of FOD
    • Unmasking
    • Wrap parts in a manner that ensures no damage during shipping
    • Verify part quantities prior to shipment
    • Ensure that all proper documentation is included with shipped parts
    • General cleaning and housekeeping duties
    • Other duties may be assigned as requested by supervisor
