The Learning and Development Sr. Specialist/Manager will curate, design and deliver engaging content leveraging technology for all levels of the organization, while promoting a culture of ongoing growth and development. Building strong working relationships with key stakeholder groups, this person will continually explore to understand the learning needs, using data and insights into the business to build or adapt learning methods, materials or technology that will support the training.

  • Develop and design comprehensive, unique learning solutions from start to completion; create specific training content aligned with training best practices; support and coordinate the necessary training materials, job aides, videos, eLearning modules.
  • Build and maintain an internal network of subject matter experts (SMEs) to effectively identify key business challenges and develop an appropriate approach to improve learning effectiveness, support key roles and address business needs
  • Provide training consultation in support of change management initiatives
  • Partner with leaders across the organization to develop and deliver scalable learning programs for their teams, inclusive of in-person, remote, and vendor- lead trainings
  • Define training plans, inclusive of processes, content, implementation, delivery, documentation, team communications, and metrics for success
  • Conduct assessments (DISC, Meyers Briggs) and deliver supporting team sessions
  • Leverage creativity, industry best practices, adult learning theories, and cutting-edge technology and tools to deliver engaging content
  • Define leadership development roadmap and lead the design, implement, and manage Leadership Development programs.
  • Curate and package online educational resources to support employee professional development needs.
  • Foster and drive a culture of learning within SCP Health
  • Identify and manage relationships with training vendors and consultants
  • Serve as LMS Administrator, Workday Learning.
  • Create a framework for analyzing, tracking, and measuring the success of learning and development programs.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and moderation skills
  • Experience developing and leading leadership development programs.
  • Experience delivering in-person and virtual training using multiple technologies
  • Experience administering a Learning Management System (Workday Learning, preferred)
  • Experience with eLearning development and/or course building experience with various authoring tools; Captivate, Articulate, etc.
  • Experience developing presentations and learning aids in a creative, succinct, graphic, and effective manner
  • Ability to design and implement surveys to gauge learning success (Survey Monkey, JotForm, Google Forms)
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Knowledge and experience conducting learning needs and skill gap analysis
  • Certification on assessment tools used for leadership development

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Leadership Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Adult Learning, or related field
  • 5 years' experience in training, development, project management, workforce development, or related area
  • 3 years' experience developing and facilitating leadership development programs
  • 5 years management/leadership experience

Pay Range:

65,081.00 - 107,672.00 USD annually

This range represents the anticipated base salary for this role. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
