Job description

Cabin Attendant - Part 135 (TEB-Based)
Department: Cabin Attendant
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Teterboro
Compensation: $900 - $1,000 / day
Description
Silver Air is seeking experienced, self-directed Cabin Attendants to provide supplemental, as-needed support for a Part 135 aircraft operating from Teterboro Airport (TEB). This is a day-rate opportunity based on operational need and individual availability and is intended to supplement our full-time Cabin Attendant coverage.
TEB supports a high-frequency, fast-turn charter environment. The aircraft operates primarily on domestic charter flights, with occasional international and overwater flights. We are looking for individuals with a strong hospitality mindset, excellent service execution, sound judgment, and the ability to step into an established operation and consistently deliver Silver Air's service standards.
Candidates should have meaningful Part 135 experience and be comfortable operating independently in a dynamic charter environment. Candidates must reside within approximately two hours of TEB to support coverage needs, including opportunities that may arise on shorter notice.
This is not a full-time position and does not guarantee a schedule or a minimum number of days. Engagements will be offered based on operational needs, qualifications, availability, and trip requirements.
We are beginning outreach now to identify qualified individuals for our supplemental Cabin Attendant network.
NOTE: Our team may not immediately respond to every inquiry, with initial engagement anticipated in early to mid-September.
Job Functions
  • Deliver exceptional service on Part 135 charter flights, anticipating guest needs proactively
  • Maintain consistent Silver Air service standards across all missions
  • Perform full pre- and post-flight cabin inspections
  • Coordinate catering, provisioning, and onboard inventory independently
  • Oversee stocking and readiness at a third-party FBO/hangar environment
  • Liaise with local FBOs, vendors, and service partners as needed
  • Ensure cabin cleanliness, organization, and presentation at all times
  • Communicate effectively with flight crew during all phases of flight
  • Adhere strictly to safety, compliance, and Silver Air Cabin Attendant Handbook standards
  • Support international and overwater operations as required

Skills Knowledge and Expertise
  • 3+ years Corporate / Part 91/135 Cabin Attendant experience required; 5+ years preferred
  • Proven experience operating independently at remote or non-Silver Air managed bases
  • Strong provisioning, inventory management, and vendor coordination skills
  • International and overwater experience strongly preferred; comfort supporting international missions required
  • High-end food and beverage service expertise
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and operational discipline
  • Professional presentation and service mindset
  • Ability to support a high-utilization charter aircraft

Why Fly With Silver Air
Silver Air offers a professional, high-performance culture grounded in safety, hospitality, and respect for our crew members.
For supplemental Cabin Attendants, this opportunity offers:
  • Competitive day-rate compensation
  • The opportunity to support a beautifully maintained Gulfstream GIV in an active, heavy-charter operation
  • A strong and experienced leadership team with an engaged Cabin Services manager
  • Exposure to a dynamic Part 135 operation with both domestic and occasional international flying
  • The flexibility of an as-needed schedule based on mutual availability
  • Opportunity to build an ongoing relationship with Silver Air and become a trusted part of our supplemental Cabin Attendant network
  • Potential eligibility to participate in Silver Air's 401(k) program, including company match, after applicable service and eligibility requirements are met

This opportunity is best suited for experienced Cabin Attendants who value flexibility while still wanting a strong connection to an established operator, aircraft, and team.
