Job description

POSITION SUMMARY
Parking Attendants are responsible for daily setup/tear down of the resort parking lots and directing guests to appropriate parking spots that result in the most effective use of space.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Daily set up/tear down of parking lot according to the directions of the Parking Lot Manager
  • Responsible for directing resort guests to appropriate parking spaces that result in the most effective use of space in all parking lots
  • Keeping the parking lot and surrounding areas clean and trash-free
  • Daily trash collection from all outdoor trash bins
  • Providing excellent customer service as the guest's first point of contact upon arriving at the resort
  • Responsible for snow removal on pathways and stair cases leading to the lodge

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS/ SKILLS AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a professional manner
  • Ability to observe and apply all applicable safety standards
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritize tasks
  • Using logic and reasoning to offer solutions to problems
  • Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and perform snow removal as needed

Marginal Duties & Responsibilities
  • Clarify expectations and seek additional training as needed
  • Provide basic assistance to guests with car troubles
  • Provide knowledgeable information about the resort to inquiring guests
  • Use SNOWsat to check equipment in and out (e.g. snowcats, snowmobiles, and rangers)
  • Report any suspicious mechanical issues or abnormal performance of equipment to the Vehicle Maintenance department via SNOWsat.
