We are located at luxury hotels, award winning fine dining restaurants, major health care facilities, financial institutions and at prestigious community events.
Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Parking Lot Attendant, where your energy and customer-focused attitude will keep our parking facilities running smoothly and efficiently. In this vital role, you will manage vehicle flow, assist customers with their parking needs, and ensure a safe, organized environment for all visitors. Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will help create a positive experience for every guest while maintaining the safety and security of the parking area. This paid position offers an engaging opportunity to develop your customer service and operational skills in a fast-paced setting. Must be available Tuesday to Saturday, 5 pm to 1 am.
Responsibilities
  • Direct vehicles into designated parking areas.
  • Assist customers with parking, and providing directions or information as needed.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately for parking fees, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting when moving barriers, cones, or equipment to maintain a tidy lot.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the parking lot to identify safety hazards or maintenance needs and report issues promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management to coordinate vehicle movements and address concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and traffic regulations to promote a secure environment for all visitors.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in parking, retail math, or dealership environments is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact politely and professionally with diverse customers.
  • Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
  • Valid driving license with a clean driving record; experience driving various vehicle types is advantageous.
  • Basic numeracy skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and proactive approach to problem-solving.
