WHO WE NEED

The position is a Part-Time/Full-Time/Seasonal position that patrols an assigned area and directs vehicle and pedestrian foot traffic at a specific intersection or specified locations. This position also deploys traffic equipment such as signs, cones, barricades, and other equipment. Assess the need for traffic direction and control.

  • Directs traffic and provides traffic control for special events and other times where traffic management is required.
  • Set up barricades and traffic cones along active roadways.
  • Remove all signs, barricades and traffic cones upon completion of work.
  • Provide direction for vehicle and pedestrian traffic using verbal communication and hand signals.
  • Protect persons and property from harm by identifying the hazards and removing them.
